Select HV Etch is a 35% high-viscosity phosphoric acid etchant with BAC. It is specifically formulated for pinpoint placement to etch enamel when using an adhesive in selective-etch mode.
Uni-Etch w/BAC and Etch-37 w/BAC are 32% and 37% semi-gel phosphoric acid etchants with BAC. They are
specifically formulated to be easily applied to larger surface areas and rinsed cleanly with no residue.

35% Phosphoric Acid Etchant with Benzalkonium Chloride
Select HV Etch is a superior 35% high viscosity phosphoric etch available with Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC). Select HV Etch is used to condition the tooth structure before bonding adhesives, composites, or sealants. Select HV Etch is specially formulated for maximum working and handling, pin-point placement performance, and eliminating run-on onto the dentin surface.
NOTE: Inclusion of BAC has not been shown to correlate with a reduction in secondary decay in patients. In-vivo clinical studies to evaluate the effects of BAC on oral bacteria or caries have not been performed.

Clinical Significance:
- Contains benzalkonium chloride (BAC), an antimicrobial agent. In-vitro research shows it is effective against Streptococcus mutans1,2.
32% Phosphoric Acid Etchant with Benzalkonium Chloride
Uni-Etch w/BAC is a 32% phosphoric acid semi-gel etchant that is effective at quickly etching enamel and dentin. Uni-Etch w/BAC is polymer-thickened and effectively removes the smear layer, etches and demineralizes enamel and dentin. It is easily manipulated into small areas such as endodontically treated root canals and undercuts. This makes it more versatile than some thicker gel etchants for etching all restorative surfaces. Published research proves that BISCO etchants produce higher bond strengths to (wet or dry) dentin1 and enamel.
